Life ----- I guess we've all heard this one before,haven't we? Life is like a box of chocolates..u never know what you're gonna get next. I think there's a lot of truth in that saying.One day you're perfectly happy,without even realising it.You don't even have a clue...and all of a sudden one little twist of faith and your life seems like your worst nightmare. But what do you about t:mope around or get on with it...Before you know it,that twist is there again,and u can see a silver lining... so there u have it, this twist of faith....Does it really determinate all in our lifes or do we take part in it,do we have a say in what happens to us.. I say to a certain exctend we're in control of it.Up until a certain level we do control what we do and say,but not always of course.. Take emotions for example,sure,u can ignore them...maybe for a while.Whether they're good or bad emotions.Violence these days is often the result of bottled up emotions...suddenly unleashed... Who amI to say all this you might say?Don't we all know how it is, some days in our life?When we take a few moments to stand still and think about it... Some more about those emotions: Love ------ Love,what is that...is it that weird feeling u have when u see a pretty person..is it that warm feeling,that way of feeling comfortable around certain people.is it that feeling of appreciating and being appreciated by those u care for most... Love's a player...It can woo you and seduce you.It can make you feel great.It can make you foolish.Love can make you happy,but it can also be sour and painful.Love's a two-faced venetian lady Ruthless,romantic,gorgeous,bitter and sweet.How did our vision of love change through out the years. In the days of Romans it was all about the looks,and then came the middleages,whichi is when things really started to get out of hand...Love was far from a common thing in those days...Violence,Love's greatest ennemy's was more likely to be found on your daily path than Love.War,domestic violence,rape,power games.... And if you were lucky enough to find that precious thing,u'd better pray u'd live it out.... Fortunately these days are past now...after a few more centuries we've ended up in this present day.And what has that shown us? Are we really that different from or our ancestors?Or are we still prmates when it comes to loving someone? Is it really all about the sex these days?And do we only care about the outside,rather than the inside of a person.(No you weirdo,I'm not talking about myself,and not it's not just a gay thing,for all u straighto's out there,in case you're thinking it.....busted....yes u ,I saw you thinking it:p) Which brings me to my next subject: Looks ------- They say gay men are more into their looks and image and styling in general....is that so?? Well,when I look around I can certanly say at least one thing about this.In general gay guys do have more sense of style than most straight guys I know and even more so than some women.. And I'm not just talking fashion or decoration here.Nor their usually really stylish hairdo's. Why is it that in general the company of gay men is much nicer than that of most straight men.Then again,there are some really nice exceptions to this rule,as there are to every one....One can never generalise.. But here's my question again are gay's more into looks?I'm not sure... Sure you straighto's go on instinct too,and judge first,on basic first look basis...AND DON'T DENY IT you cheaky ass monkey... Oh and why is it that so many people still judge other by their looks.Just because we're not all exact klones of each other...diversity is wealth is say....embrace the color in your life...in fact,despite our differences,deep down we're all still the same,right? I say we're basically the same... Listen -------- What do you like to listen to most ? Your favourite music?the sound of your lover's heartbeat?sounds of nature?the soft sound of your baby sleeping in your arms?Or maybe a combination of it all.. To me it'd be a combination of the first two,since I don't have a baby and there's not much nature around... And what that favourite music is,I guess you all already know don't,you just have to scroll down a bit and to find out.... But then,what is music,is it the beating of a drum,the poetry in beautiful lyrics,or a guitarriff even..to me it shoud have a bit of everything:good lyrics and good music,which still holds in live performance.that's why i love k's choice and sarah and gert bettens so much.Even solo they still rock...(www.sarahbettens.com/www.gertbettens.com)
